Am staying at The Breakers Motel. How close to the festival are we? I can find no map on your website.

Wow Uduffus! You have done REALLY well..... Breakers Motel is the top motel in Whangamata and I thought it was fully booked out! The Auckland Corvette Club usually book the place. It is a very classy joint - I have to say that as Maree, the owner, is on our Beach Hop team! But it really is a wonderful place to stay - so make sure you say hi to Maree when you get there.......
And you are pretty close to the action. The Motel is on the main road into town so you will see cars cruising by all day and night - if you can drag yourself out of the hot tub that is! It is about a 5 minute walk into the town centre so is very central.
We look forward to seeing you here - Have a great trip!

Normally it is at the shop next door to the Palms Tavern/Hotel which is at the roundabout with the Shell Station on it as you come in to town. The other end roundabout is a Caltex I think. I am not sure if this is going to be the place this year but I suspect it would be. Noddy can maybe confirm.

A good question!
You could go to the shop next door to the Palms Tavern - but you would probably get a latte - lol! It is now Chilleze Cafe.....
We like to keep you guessing...........

The Ultimate Pass swing tags etc will be sent out within 2 weeks - we wait as late as possible in case of any changes to the programme. I'll be sending out an email the day they are posted so that you know they are on their way.......
Taupo - Whanga. Hmmmm usually it can be done in around 3 hours. But you are a Hot Rodder............
See you soon!

Howdy Jumbo!
Pleased to hear that you rec'd you Ultimate Passes okay - good old NZ Post!
We you register your car, record details etc, on arrival and give you a more detailed info sheet for the weekend. This will cover the T party - and it is looking like we are going to have a great collection of buckets! You have the choice of being part of the Ultimate group or go with the Buckets - it is up to you. Both groups will be near the very front so overheating shouldn't be a problem.
The Buckets will park in a side street outside Bucks Sports Bar and I expect that T owners Bill Fryer and Geoff Cottle will suggest that you all hit Bucks straight away to talk about maybe starting a national T Bucket Register/Club.
Have a safe trip!

Howdy Peter!
Great to hear that you will be here early and wanting to do a bit of sight seeing.......
The Koro Kruz assembly point is down at Williamson Park by the Surf Club at 9:30am with a 10am departure. One of our local members, Paul Edwards, is organising it. As it is early on in the festival, your car doesn't have to have a festival registration sticker at that stage.
See ya soon!
