Hi there..my name is Tony....my wife and I are making the trip across from Perth Western Australia to join you guys at the hop...I was so impressed with the event that we have decided to see it for ourselves. We will be there on the Friday and Saturday ...so I hope to here from some of you ...cheers....Tony.

Fantastic to hear that you are heading all the way over from Perth for the Beach Hop. We're sure you are going to have a blast and the Kiwi Hot Rodders will look after you... We are working on "adopt an Aussie" where we will hook you up with a ride for the weekend...
If there is anything else we can do to help then please just ask. Same for anyone else making a special effort to come to the festival. We know there are a ton of our Aussie mates heading over, plus people from South Africa and the USA.

my family and i went last year and had a blast. we are so excited about this year. we will be there for the whole four days.

Great to hear you are coming over from Australia. Make sure you pop into Beach Hop Central and register for our "Adopt an Aussie" program - we'll give you a swing tag and a list of vehicles that you can go for a ride in......

My wife and i will be over for our third B/H all the way from tropical cairns, also i've just heard that maybe 10 members of the top of the state hot rod & custom club from cairns are allready booked and revving to go, for us its a double whammy cause i get to spend a couple of weeks with my mum who happens to live there and get blown away by B/H as always it's good therapy , maybe we could get a billet system happening , who wants a holliday in tropical cairns at the right time of year ? as we have two spare bedrooms anyhow something to toss around.

As we have chanegd the movie to the World's Fastest Indian, we've had to can the Grease Quiz night - sorry about that. We really enjoyed the Graffiti quiz last year and looking at a "History of NZ Hot Rodding" type quiz for 2008 - based on the covers of NZ Hot Rod mag for 40 years.. See you soon! Noddy |

I can also remember the muscle car you had back in NZ - was in the Hot Rod mag a couple of times... Great that you are heading over from Cairns - I think someone will need to turn the lights out in Aussie as there will be so many here! I like the idea of a billet system - maybe a bit late for this year but something we can work on for 2008. The only problem is most locals have their house full of friends & family anyway! But certainly worth a try.... Hey - I wouldn't mind a trip to Cairns myself! Have great trip over! Noddy |

hi to all had a great time at hop like always. the only let down was i will come back to that latter .but first .i take a lot of people for rides from the time i arrive to the time i leave i get congratulated a lot people come up to me all the time and say that i am doing a good thing . the thrill that someone gets when i pull up and take them for a ride must be so surprising to them .that is why i do what i do .now the cruises on friday and saturday night are only three hours and i only have one spare seat, so i can only take so many people in that time frame. a lot of people missed out on a ride.witch is just the way it goes,now back to the start of my letter,one father came up to me and he told me that he was disapointed with me because his son waited all night for me to take him hor a ride and i never. I WANT ALL PEOPLE TO TAKE NOTE THAT I DECIDE WHO I TAKE FOR A RIDE IN MY ROD DO NOT EXPECT TO BE TAKEN YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED.this is the only disapointment for me .but i will be back next year doing what i do .so to all keep rodding see you next year. piercerpaul
