Hey I just recieved the latest Beach Hop news update (27/2/06) At the bottom it mentions the cool new beach hop t-shirts, i just wanted to know if these will be available for purchase online before the big weekend, or only while the beach hop is on?

Welcome Rosie!
Yes, we are certainly hoping to have the shirts available via the internet before the big event. It will depend on how it all comes together - there is so much going on at the moment! For your info, we received 1800 emails for Beach Hop 2005. To date we have over 6100 for Beach Hop 2006 - with 2 months left to go! And I noticed there were 160 people browsing the website at one time this afternoon.....
It's going to be great!

A good question!
Nope - you can just do it on the night at the Whangamata Club after the Movie. $5 per team to enter - max of 6 people per team. We have 50 questions - 5 lots of 10. It should be a great night!
Cheers,
Noddy

Hey Noddy
Just reading one of your old 'posts' here and you said that the Crooz the Loop is about (200km). Just a quick question...are we having a petrol tanker following us around as we have an eeny petrol tank and a very thirsty girl!! Or...should we take our own can just in case..(petrol gauge doesn't work!) From Noiseboy's Girl

Hey Mrs Noise!
I can do the "Loop" in the Hot Rod Challenge 27 T Roadster on 1 tank of gas - 350cu with triple carbs.
There are petrol stations in Thames, Coromandel, Whitianga and Tairua. Be warned that Cormandel Town's petrol prices are EXPEN$IVE!!!! Whangamata and Whitianga are usual city prices - Thames a bit dearer - try and figure that one out?
Cheers,
Noddy

Hi Noddy
What’s happening? How’s the numbers going? What’s new? What’s news on the project car? What’s happening with the roadster? How many sleeps till Beachhop? Are we there yet? What’s with all my questions?
Lots of interest out in the market and thought I would drop you a quick message of encouragement. Keep up with the last big push and well rock that town!
After a disappointing summer season with a car on the road but missed evens due to clashes and personal commitments, rain offs and should be rain offs and just shouldn’t have attended I’m starting to anticipate the Hop with nervous anticipation. All those what ifs! Na its going to Rock!!
So whats the go?
Cheers
Peter

Howdy Gang!
Just taken a couple of days off for some R & R before the Festival. But still keeping busy of course!!!
As at today we have just under 950 cars registered for The Hop! So we will have over 1000 cars this week..... Plenty of stunning new cars as well.
The window decals arrived on Friday so now we are just in the process of sending them out - we expect them to put them in the Post from Tuesday. Ultimate Passes first.....
So keep an eye out!
Cheers,
Noddy

Cheers Noddy I can imagine the chaos with the first year of pre-registration keeping you guys on your toes, I’m guessing you’ll have half that again in cars that just rock up on the weekend and just want to take it in without registering.
Hi noiseboys, yup its been a quiet as a grave on the forum, maybe the punters don’t want to jinks it by talking it up and raising the anticipation level. Praying the weather settles down and the price of gas goes through the floor
Cheers

Very observent Pete!!!
Yes - bike can enter "on the day". Much easier to manage than the cars..... ;D
Cheers,
Noddy
P.S And all you Rodders who think "Great - we'll just register our car as a bike and get a pass" - we are too clever for you! The bike stickers a different to the car ones this year. Insert evil sblack person.....
