Yeah Dave - the Bobkats did really well. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical about the band and we took a bit of a punt. It was a cheeky email you sent me last year but I liked ya style! To say I was impressed with you, Janelle and Duke would be an understatement and I'm looking forward to catching up at the Wintersun. The Atomic Betties sounds like a great idea! All the Aussie bands delivered the goods. Did you see me and Snap from the Straight 8's singing backing vocals at their gig on Saturday night? I'm a Star!!!! And what can we say about the Retro Rockets.... incredible performances. Just mind blowing and people are still raving about them..... But let's not forget the Kiwi Bands. I didn't get to see them all but Black Snapper certainly were great to watch and I've heard rave reviews about the Recliner Rockers. Billy & the Rockabilly Rebels found some new fans. Roger Skinner gave the RSA their biggest ever trading both nights and the Rod Fathers went off on Saturday. Al Dawson did a great job supporting the Straight 8's - he is a Beach Hop stalwart. And The Hollow Grinders certainly got people talking when they played outdoors at night time. Tim & the Rockets were the perfect choice for the Street Stage after the Night Cruises - instant crowds and dancing. I'm sure the other bands also performed well - let's have your feedback..... Rock on Kats! Noddy

You are welcome! Part of our strategy is to build up the music side of the festival and have gone to great expense to do this for BH07. We just hope the people support us and enjoy it....
Personally, I believe great music and hot cars are even better when combined. They create THE atmosphere we are after....
Have fun!
